Intensive, personalized dog boarding and training in Southborough, MA — backed by a 3-year warranty on every program and our 24/7 staffed facility. We take the cases other trainers turn away.
Your dog lives and learns with us for an extended stay — gaining the kind of focused attention, structure, and real-world practice that weekly lessons can't deliver.
Our Southborough facility is staffed around the clock. Your dog is supervised, cared for, and never alone — day, night, and every hour in between.
Hands-on training sessions every day, building on each previous lesson. Far faster than weekly visits can achieve.
Real interaction with our trained pack. Your dog learns proper canine social skills from balanced, confident dogs.
Training transfers to you. We don't just train your dog — we teach you how to maintain the results long-term.
Every program is fully customizable based on your dog's age, temperament, and goals. All include a free in-person consultation to determine the right fit.
Adult dogs who need solid foundational obedience — sit, stay, recall, heel, place, door manners, and reliable response under distraction.
Puppies starting around 5-7 months old. Three separate stays timed to key developmental milestones — building the strongest possible foundation for a lifetime of good behavior.
Adolescent dogs (roughly 10-18 months) hitting that "teenage" stage where they test boundaries. Two stays to lock in obedience and prevent behavioral issues before they become ingrained.
Dogs with serious behavior issues — aggression, reactivity, severe anxiety, resource guarding, bite histories. The cases other trainers turn away.
Not sure which program fits your dog? That's exactly why the in-person consultation is free. We'll assess your dog, discuss your goals, and recommend the best path forward — no obligation.
Every Board & Train at Boston Dogtor comes with a full 3-year warranty. If your dog regresses or new issues emerge within those three years, we'll work with them again at no additional cost. It's how we put our confidence in writing.
From our Basic Obedience program to our most intensive Behavior Modification stays, every Board & Train carries a full 3-year warranty — included with the program, not a premium add-on.
Our flagship programs extend warranty coverage to behavioral issues. If new behavior problems emerge during your 3-year window, we address them — included with what you've already paid.
Throughout your 3-year window, you can request refresher sessions whenever you need them. We're not a one-and-done service — we're invested in your dog's long-term success.
Specific warranty terms and coverage details are reviewed in writing during your free consultation.
From your first call to long after pickup, here's exactly what to expect.
Gevorg comes to your home to meet your dog where they're most comfortable — in their normal environment, where their real behavior shows. We'll talk through what's been challenging and give you an honest take on whether Board & Train is the right fit. No pressure, no obligation.
Based on the consultation, we recommend the right program and provide a custom quote with clear scope, timeline, and warranty terms. Decide on your timeline.
You drop your dog at our Southborough facility with their familiar food, gear, and vet records. We complete intake, get them settled, and confirm exactly how we'll keep you updated throughout their stay.
Your dog trains with us in multiple sessions every day, integrated into their full routine. You also join us for owner training sessions during the stay — so you're learning the techniques alongside your dog, not just receiving them at the end. Regular photo and video updates throughout.
When your dog is ready, we bring them home for a transition session in your own environment — where the training actually needs to translate. Then we schedule a follow-up visit 48-72 hours later to check on the transition and address any early relapses before they take root.
Every Board & Train program carries a full 3-year warranty. You can request refresher sessions throughout that window — at no additional cost. We're invested in your dog's long-term success, not just the initial training stay.
Our founder Gevorg has been training dogs professionally since 2009 — every breed, every temperament, every challenge.
Up to 3 years of behavioral coverage on most programs. We're confident enough in our work to put it in writing.
Aggression, bite history, severe anxiety, multiple-trainer history. If you've been told "no" elsewhere — call us first.
No cookie-cutter curriculum. Every program is shaped around your dog's specific personality, triggers, and goals.
Our Southborough facility is staffed around the clock. Your dog is never alone — supervised, cared for, and watched over day and night.
You'll see photos and videos throughout your dog's stay — not just a goodbye text on pickup day.
"I can't recommend Gevorg, his team and their training services enough."
"The warranty is real with this trainer."
"Once we got her back she was a new dog."
Most single-stay programs run 3-4 weeks. Multi-stay programs like our Puppy Package include three separate 3-4 week stays timed to developmental milestones. Custom durations are common — we'll recommend based on your dog at the consultation.
Your dog stays at our Southborough facility, integrated into our home-like environment with structured routines. They sleep in clean, comfortable accommodations and spend their waking hours actively training, socializing, and learning.
Our facility is staffed 24/7 — your dog is supervised around the clock, day and night. They are never left alone, and someone is always available to respond to any need.
For Massachusetts liability and insurance reasons, we cannot offer in-person facility tours. Instead, we share regular photo and video updates throughout the stay — so you can see exactly where and how your dog is doing.
During the early phase of training, in-person visits and video chats can disrupt the structure your dog is learning to trust. Instead, we send regular photo and video updates so you can see real progress without setting back the training.
Toward the end of the stay, we transition you into hands-on sessions to learn the handling techniques we've installed.
Pickup includes a dedicated owner training session where we walk through every command, hand signal, leash technique, and handling tip we've installed. This is arguably the most important hour of the entire program — it ensures the training transfers to your home.
Throughout your warranty period, you can request follow-up support if you run into trouble.
That's exactly what your warranty is for. Within your coverage period (1 year obedience minimum, 3 years behavioral on Puppy / Teenage / Behavior programs), you can request a refresher session at no additional cost.
Most regressions are minor — usually a matter of you needing a quick refresher on a technique. We're invested in long-term success, not a one-and-done sale.
Your dog must be current on Rabies, DHPP (Distemper/Hepatitis/Parvo/Parainfluenza), and Bordetella. We'll request vaccination records during intake. Dogs with incomplete vaccination history can sometimes be accommodated case-by-case — we'll discuss at the consultation.
Pricing varies by program length, complexity, and your dog's specific needs. We don't publish fixed prices because no two programs are identical — what costs a Behavior Modification client may not match a Basic Obedience client.
The in-person consultation is free and includes a personalized written quote so you know exactly what you're investing in before deciding.
Yes — these are often the cases we're best at. Our Behavior Modification program is built for serious cases including bite histories, severe aggression, and dogs other trainers have refused. We assess every dog individually at the consultation to confirm we can help.
Schedule a free in-person consultation. We'll meet your dog, talk through your goals, and give you a personalized written quote. No obligation. No high-pressure pitch.
